The Wizard's magic had worked! I had asked him to show me who had saved me that fateful winter night so that I might repay the life debt I owed. There I stood with my horse, Brownie, in the clearing before the dilapidated shack. This would have been my final winter if it hadn't of been for the man that had wandered out of the trees and saved us that evening as the sun slipped ever lower tot eh horizon. As I stood there watching, I wondered what was taking so long. I could remember how cold that night had been with no cloak left but my hood. My boots no longer kept out the snow, a situation I had feared would soon be the death of me before my empty stores, and missing flint could. I also remembered how Brownie had shook from the cold. She had stayed with me for so long, I woke each morning expecting to see her laying in the snow. As I stood there, watching myself slowly accept that this would be how my winter would end, I realized only how well the Wizard's magic had worked. I looked down and saw that I was indeed wearing the green cloak the stranger had. I reached down and ripped a length from it to tie around my face, as the stranger had done before to hide his identity. I hefted the bag of provisions and tools I carried and crept into the woods, it was time.

Wow, as I understand it right the character had come into a vicious circle? It is so very well translated into the image, both men wear the same cloak and carry the same stick, great details. Well done!
He is there to save himself, though he didn't know it was his future self that had saved him before. And thank you! Though a lot of credit goes to the stock suppliers, could never make this without them!
